Dear Karin, Hanlie and Personnel
A Letter of Honour
I trust you are all well and I am sure that the first quarter of the school in 2022 started and ended with a bang and quarter two is running like a well-oiled machine.
How we miss each one of you!
However, to move forward is called growth, that is the point of all of the hard work that you have put in at the school with each child and I am sure that is exactly what you aimed for!
That is why I would like to write this email to you, to say thank you!
Saying thank you is an understatement Karin, down to every single person in the team, everyone has meant the world to the development of André not only the physical needs but emotional and spiritual as well.
He started out as a little Afrikaans boy in nappies and walked out a young confident boy fluent in both Afrikaans and English ready to take on Grade 1 in Primary School!
“No fear”! “I got this”! J
Well, people always say it is the results that count.
Coming from Carefree Kid’s Montessori with all the intimate and close interaction time spent and ongoing motivation going to the Primary School is like “ no man’s land”!
Suddenly the close relationship is not there anymore, and one is part of a group of 30 and have to be independent and accept that an instruction given and to be followed is the closest to what one can get to individual attention.
( But a child’s heart was even prepared for that)
However, as the first quarter ended with the looking at a beautiful report of the highest can be, we also received the following comments from his new teacher at the Primary School at the first parents meeting:
“ Where did André go to Pre-Primary? “
As I answered Carefree Kid’s Montessori she quickly replied the following:
“ I can see he was in a Montessori, in his independence.”
“ He is not scared to stand up for himself or express his point of view.”
“ He does his work and tries a few times before he asks for help.”
“ He respects his fellow classmates and is eager to help or assist where he can.”
“ Thinking , solution to a problem.”
Now I tell you, as a mother, that brings tears to my eyes!
And yes, it is a two-way street as you always communicated as well, Manners and Good principles start at home but the personnel at Carefree Kid’s take over the relay stick and build a beautiful strong foundation for any school to stand on.
Your foundation is build out of the love of Jesus, tremendous love and care for each child and a passion to develop each child to their full capacity and ability on your unique way giving them that head start in life and leaving them with the mindset that they can conquer any obstacle and they have the ability to become whoever they choose to become.
So like I said thank you is an understatement. I want to HONOUR each and one of you for imprinting that permanent footprint not only in André’s heart and development but ours as parents as well.
You are true heroes , training and shaping the future of our new generations.
May your school Carefree Kids Montessori , your hands and work, and all future kids and parents to come be blessed and be testimony of this.
