On 17 February Carefree kids Montessori Centre supported CHOC’s Flip Flop day. CHOC childhood Cancer Foundation SA provides free, comprehensive support to families of children with cancer and life-threatening blood disorders and their families (https://choc.org.za)
The Carefree Kid’s children had great fun wearing their flipflops to school. It was a privilege to support this initiative.
At Carefree Kids we support a variety of charities.
We strive to teach the children the joy of giving to others that are less fortunate than us. We must share our blessings with others.
We collected dog and cat food for Woodrock Animal Project. They are organisations that rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals.
On the day they came to collect the donations they brought two of their rescue dogs along. They explained to the children how they help these animals and how their donations will make a big difference. The children also learned what the correct way to care for their pets is.
